Exceptionally talented young singers compete to win coveted awards set to escalate their careers.
The Kathleen Ferrier Awards Competition 2021 takes place from the bright and beautiful Henry Wood Hall, an elegant regency church used as an orchestral rehearsal space and recording studio in London’s Southwark.
- Semi-Final Part 1 – Monday 29th November 2021 from 7.30pm
- Semi-Final Part 2 – Tuesday 30th November 2021 from 7.30pm
- Semi-Final Part 3 – Wednesday 1st December 2021 from 7.30pm
- Semi-Final Part 4 – Thursday 2nd December 2021 from 7.30pm
- Final Part 1 – Saturday 4th December 2021 from 7.30pm
- Final Part 2 – Sunday 5th December 2021 from 7.30pm
The finals took place at Henry Wood Hall on Sunday 14th November 2021

The competition gives all the singers a rare and vital opportunity to sing at the Wigmore Hall to an audience including casting directors and agents. Winning in the Ferrier Awards is a calling card to any agent or opera house.
The Ferrier Awards were set up by those who heard Kathleen Ferrier in her all too short career. They were so touched and saddened by Ferrier’s early passing that many of them set up the Kathleen Ferrier Memorial Scholarship Fund to leave a legacy by helping young singers of the future.
